Job Description

Complete assessments. Develop treatment plans and/or recommendations for treatment. Provide group and individual counseling to clients. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with interdisciplinary team. Communicate with court, attorneys, and other parties. Participate in rotating call schedule. Complete paperwork as required.
Under the direction of the Program Director, this position is responsible for providing family, individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and associated paperwork.

Days and Shifts:
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., On call every other Friday 4:30 pm - Monday 8:00 am
Counseling Services

Associate Degree in chemical dependency or related field
Certified by the Iowa Board of Certification or eligible
Minimum 2-years behavioral health experience.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
Minimum of a Masters Degree from a social work, psychology or counseling department of an accredited educational institution.
Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
2 years experience in the human services field.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
