Arbuckle Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that provids quality healthcare to the families of Murray County and the thousands of visitors drawn to this recreational area each year. In addition to being an award winning healthcare facility, Arbuckle Memorial Hospital is also one of the area's largest employers. Caring, highly-qualified physicians and nurses provide much needed inpatient and outpatient services. Our hospital serves over 30,000 patients every year with over 7,000 of those being seen in our Emergency Room. We moved into our new hospital in 2009 and are currently building a medical office building scheduled for completion in early 2020.
Arbuckle Memorial Hospital has a 5-star HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) rating and is a Platinum Hospital for Workplace Wellness.
2018, Arbuckle Memorial Hospital earned the TMF Silver Award for Hospital Quality Improvement. Out of the 745 hospitals in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas, that demonstrated improved performance on specific national quality measures, only 51 earned the Gold Award, 50 the Silver Award and 51 the Bronze Award.
Arbuckle Memorial Hospital is located in Sulphur, Oklahoma adjacent to the town of Davis and is nestled in the beautiful lake area of the Arbuckle Mountain Region. Area attractions include Turner Falls Park, a 77ft waterfall with beautiful natural swimming areas and Chickasaw National Recreation Area (a U.S. National Park) that has hiking trails, natural springs for swimming, campgrounds and picnic areas. Popular attractions in the Park include Little Niagra, a popular swimming hole with water 62-64 degrees year round, the Vendome Well, a natural spring fountain and Lake of the Arbuckles, one the best fishing lakes in Oklahoma.
