Responsibilities:

Mercy is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as an operational and business development leader in a regional 156-bed acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed and innovative problem solver, able to thrive in a team environment. Working closely with operational, clinic, business development and community relations leadership, this candidate will assist with identifying, prioritizing, and achieving organizational growth goals and operational metrics. In addition to hospital operations, role will focus on developing both existing and new clinical service lines and pro forma development. Operational and business development/sales experience required. Bachelors degree required, masters preferred. Healthcare experience a plus.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:Bachelors degree in health care related field or other business field required Masters in Health Service Administration, MBA or related advance degree preferred.

Licensure: None required

Experience:Business development or direct sales experience required.

Analyzing and interpreting complex data and information in a planning and decision making process.

Certifications Preferred: Lean/ Sixsigma training experience preferred

Other: Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills Possesses the ability to assess data and assist personnel in following correct processes. Ability to communicate clearly and establish and maintain working relationships with physicians, staff and the public. Ability to organize. Able to meet deadlines. Self-motivated. Experience in managing budgetary requirements. Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Stands, sits, and walks most of the time on duty. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week or frequency according to patient care needs. Equipment used: Unit specific software, computer, FAX machine, phone, printer, and Microsoft Office Applications
