The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
* Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets as determined by the Quality Committee
* Provides appropriate patient and family education
* Makes appropriate referrals to service and other providers
* Maintains admitting privileges at local hospitals and provides follow-up care where privileges permit
* Responsible for the fiscal viability of the practice
* Complies with IPSI policies and maintains professional standards of national, state and local medical societies, licensing agencies and governmental agencies
* Maintains ethical and professional standards of appropriate national, state and local medical societies, licensing agencies and governmental agencies
* Maintains admitting privileges at metro hospitals and provides follow-up care where privileges permit
The Physician is responsible for patients.

Keyboarding/Dexterity: Occasionally; activity exists up to 1/3 of the time

Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
