Job Description

The e-Health Specialist assists the eHealth department in the development, implementation, and maintenance/sustainability of clinical, educational, and administrative telehealth-related business and system-wide technology-related initiatives that promote quality of care and evidence-based practice models.

Essential Functions:

e-Health Technology Specialist
The Telehealth Technology Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Prepares, delivers, schedules and/or coordinates telehealth programming for the INTEGRIS Telehealth Network (both metro and rural facilities

* Develops telehealth programs for clinical applications, continuing medical education, consumer education, and administrative services

* Orients and trains administrators, physicians, and other health care professionals on the use of network technology associated with effective delivery of patient care and outcome management strategies

* Produces and distributes documentation related to telehealth network and telehealth projects

* Develops marketing materials and maintains website(s) for telehealth

e-Health Specialist

* Supports INTEGRIS staff as well as guest lecturers, instructors, and physicians seeking web-based course delivery solutions and provides professional support in the selection, design, production and implementation of instructional technology strategies.

* Responsible for the administration, management, development and support of the INTEGRIS Education Micro Channel and other education technology solutions.

* Responsible for coordination of all continuing education offerings, including the development and maintenance of registration databases, post-tests, surveys and other communication with course registrants.

* Manages and maintains the budget and financial records for all continuing education offerings.

The e-Health Specialist reports to the Manager, eHealth Operations

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree and 2 years experience in Information Systems, teleconferencing or telecommunications, or Associates degree and 4 years experience in Information Systems, teleconferencing, or telecommunications, or high school diploma and 6 years of experience in Information Systems, teleconferencing, or telecommunications

* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
