The Payment Poster is responsible for the expedient and accurate posting of payments received.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Licenses or Certifications: N/A

Total Education, Vocational Training, and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Proficient typing and PC skills, general knowledge of accounting. Must have a working knowledge of healthcare billing which includes knowledge of Medicare and Private Commercial Insurance.

PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION

Position has access to Protected Health Information as needed and in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.

Must be able to manage a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multi task in a timely manner.
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; Uses time efficiently.
