Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse practices nursing care under the supervision or direction of a registered nurse and/or the House Supervisor. The directed scope of the LPN practice is in concert with the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, 2001

Responsibilities
POSITION PURPOSE:

The Licensed Practical Nurse practices nursing care under the supervision or direction of a registered nurse and/or the House Supervisor. The directed scope of the LPN practice is in concert with the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, 2001

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Licenses or Certifications: Current LPN License; CPR Certification; ACLS Certification preferred

Total Education, Vocation Training, and Experience: Graduate of an accredited LPN program. One year experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to seek assistance as needed;

Ability to adapt to changes necessitated by patient/staff situations;

Ability to write legibly;

Ability to interact in a positive manner and communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor, and other hospital employees.

PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION:

Position has Full Access to Protected Health Information of patients on caseload.
