Job Description

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and pristine environment in all areas of the facility in accordance with VALIR quality standards.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and pristine environment in all areas of the facility in accordance with VALIR quality standards.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

License or Certification:

Total Education, Vocational Training, and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent preferred, previous housekeeping experience preferred, and previous health care experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks;

Ability to read and follow directions;

Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor, and other hospital employees.

Assumes responsibility for equipment, inventory, safety, and security of assigned facilities.

PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION:

Position has No Access to Protected Health Information of patients on Rehabilitation Unit and in Outpatient..

Accurately complete job responsibilities within the specified time constraints to meet the needs of patients, regulatory standards and customer satisfaction
